Generally women are reported to have more empathy (ability to understand other’s emotions and care for them). There are no changes in her burden of responsibility before and during pandemic. A woman keeps Juggling of family responsibilities anywhere and anytime. Lack of domestic and emotional support affects her mental health. Women who experienced physical abuse before the lockdown were increased risk of abuse during lockdown. Women who are pregnant, post delivered women, miscarrying or experiencing partner violence are at higher risk of developing mental health problems during pandemic. Parenting is more stressful during pandemic. The burden of responsibility and lack of support is the major cause of fear, stress, anxiety, depression and post traumatic disorder. Mental health problems are higher among women.

Be aware of your own emotions and reactions. Recognize what makes you sad, angry, and frustrated and so on. Sacrifice to a certain extend since you need everything for yourself to sacrifice later.
Express your feelings Nothing goes bad if you ventilate your feelings .Express it in an appropriate way let your family get to know something bothers you.
Spend time for yourself Take care of your health. Take healthy diet on time, good amount of sleep, exercise and yoga or meditate to keep yourself relaxed. Stay connected with friends and others. Get atleast 15-20 minutes of sunshine daily to boost vitamin D levels and it also elevates mood.
Plan schedule Even as a busy women you need to take time yourself to be happy. Plan your time accordingly .Balance your work and spend time in relaxing by hearing music, a walk, spend time with pet or relaxing bath. Laugh since Laughter is a best medicine.
Protect yourself from abuse if you found your partner keeps abusing you. Get know the signs of abuse. Don’t argue or stay away when that kind of action happens. Get help from any support system.
Support system Avoid gathering too much of information on social medias since this gives overloading of information further making you over think and leads to unwanted confusions. Seek appropriate support system and clarify doubts. Meet mental health professionals for maintaining health and wellbeing.
